The 14th edition of the Art Genève contemporary art fair will take place at the Palexpo Exhibition Centre in Geneva from 29 January to 1 February 2026. This prestigious gathering will bring together a selection of approximately 80 modern and contemporary art galleries from around the globe, alongside a wide range of cultural institutions such as museums, foundations, private collections, and art centres.
Launched in 2012, the Art Genève art fair has quickly established itself as a highlight on the international scene and now inaugurates the European calendar of art fairs in the Geneva winter season. While the fair will continue to be part of the major international art calendar, it will preserve its unifying credo: building bridges, cultivating a vibrant authenticity, and stimulating relationships on a national and international scale.
The fair will maintain its intimate atmosphere while offering an incredibly rich programme, showcasing a diverse array of art forms – from classical painting and sculpture to cutting-edge digital practices, video art, and immersive performances. Among the key players in the gallery business participating in the fair are Hauser & Wirth, Pace Gallery, Galerie Eva Presenhuber, Templon, Galerie Lelong, Tornabuoni Arte, and Waddington Custot. Joining them will be a number of distinguished Parisian galleries, including Applicat-Prazan, Mennour, Le Minotaure, Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois, Papillon, Suzanne Tarasieve, In Situ – Fabienne Leclerc, Les filles du calvaire, and Magnin-A. The lineup will also feature Zurich’s Karma International, Tallinn’s Temnikova & Kasela Gallery, and many others.

The exhibition will be structured into several key sections, each offering a unique experience. Particularly noteworthy is the Sur-Mesure section, which will showcase monumental works and unconventional formats, capturing the visitors’ attention with its grand scale and innovative approach. In addition to the visual feast, visitors can also experience a musical programme featuring sound installations that extend beyond the confines of the exhibition halls. The fair will also include a section dedicated to art publishing, which offers a glimpse into the world of art books and limited editions.
At the heart of the Art Genève fair lies the Solo section, featuring 16 solo exhibitions. These artists will compete for the prestigious Prix Solo Art Genève, generously sponsored by the independent watchmaker F.P. Journe. The winning artist’s work will be added to the collection of the Geneva Museum of Contemporary Art (MAMCO), securing its place in the annals of art history.

One of the highlights of the fair is the Prix Mobilière award, traditionally presented to a promising young Swiss artist. The 2026 contenders are:
- Monika Emmanuelle Kazi, whose works explore memory and colonial history;
- Lorenza Longhi, delving into critical design and minimalism;
- Anita Muçolli, who specialises in the psychology of objects and architecture;
- Yoan Mudry, creator of hyper-realistic works at the intersection of painting and digital technology;
- Cassidy Toner, renowned for her incisive social satire;
- Gaia Vincensini, a multidisciplinary artist exploring art through the lens of alchemy and finance;
- Ilaria Vinci, whose practice is inspired by pop culture and examines the formation of collective imagination.
The parallel Art Talks programme promises to be equally engaging, featuring a presentation of Switzerland’s national pavilion for the 61st Venice Biennale, a discussion with curators about contemporary art of Australian Aboriginals, and a dialogue on digital art. What’s more, the remarkable part of the event will be a special session dedicated to the harmony of colours, featuring fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, textile artist Tanya Grace Naki, and Piaget’s creative director Stéphanie Sivrière.
